Full Journal pdf1999-03-15 Senate Journal Page 0547 HB 100 Message dated March 15 was read, stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 100(FIN)(brf sup maj fld)(efd fld) An Act making and amending capital, supplemental, and other appropriations; making and amending appropriations to capitalize funds; ratifying certain expenditures and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendment, namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 100(FIN) An Act making and amending capital, supplemental, and other appropriations; making and amending appropriations to capitalize funds; ratifying certain expenditures; making and amending appropriations under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date. 1999-03-15 Senate Journal Page 0548 HB 100 In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Mulder, Chair Representative Therriault Representative Grussendorf Senator Mackie moved that the Senate recede from its amendment and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: Shall the Senate Recede from its Amendment to CSHB 100(FIN)(brf sup maj fld)(efd fld)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 19 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Nays: Adams, Donley, Ellis, Elton, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Kelly Pete, Kelly Tim, Leman, Mackie, Miller, Parnell, Pearce, Phillips, Taylor, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Excused: Lincoln and so, the Senate failed to recede. On March 14 the President appointed the following members (page 534) to serve on a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Parnell, Chair Senator Torgerson Senator Adams The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
